Along with the swearing in of Idaho’s new State Senators and Representatives, the State Senate welcomed Idaho’s first female Lt. Governor, Janice McGeachin, who presides over the Senate as part of her duties. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Winder (R-Dist. 20) noted it was a great and historic day as the Lt. Governor participated in the convening of the Senate earlier this week.
